About Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is a luxurious and elegant safari lodge located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania. The lodge is situated on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which spans 8,300 square kilometers from the Rift Valley to the Serengeti. The design follows the Maasai mud-and-stick manyatta (homestead) style, and it is considered one of the most architecturally spectacular safari lodges in Africa. The lodge serves Pan-African cuisine in its dramatic, domed dining room with a roaring fireplace, tables laden with crystal and silverware, and massive wooden serving platters.
